SOUTHEASTERN FLEMING...ROWAN AND ELLIOTT COUNTIES...
At 107 AM EST, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Foxport to near Cat Creek. Movement
was east at 55 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Morehead, West Liberty, Sandy Hook, Frenchburg, Marshall, Henry,
Jeffersonville, Wellington, Salt Lick, Zag, Moon, Florress, Cornwell,
Elliottville, Rothwell, Lick Branch, Pekin, Christy, Omer and Hilda.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
