Have Fun for a Good Cause in Arlington

Foodie? Sports fan? Social advocate? Get all three at the Bridges to Independence Black and Gold Bash on March 21 from 6:30- 9:30 p.m. at MakeOffices at 3100 Clarendon Blvd.

Arlington County Board Member Christian Dorsey will emcee the evening with HUNGRY catering the hors d'oeuvres and DC Sweet Potato Cake the desserts.

Auction items include Washington Capitals tickets and a signed Alex Ovechkin jersey, a vacation home in Myrtle Beach and art created by Bridges' youth.

Tickets are $85 each or $130 a pair and include three drink tickets as well as appetizers, desserts and live music. Proceeds from this annual event go to assist families experiencing homelessness to attain financial security and to become self sufficient as well as to assist those who have gained independence to ensure they can remain security housed. Bridges has been working to assist homeless families since 1985.
